Cambridge Aorta: 3rd Aortic Isthmus Symposium

An expert-led symposium exploring innovative, cross-specialty approaches to managing the entire aorta, from diagnosis to long-term care.

Hosted by Mr Ravi De Silva and Mr Steve Large, this year’s symposium brings together leading voices in both vascular and cardiac surgery to explore integrated approaches across the entire aorta. With a focus on innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration, the event offers a unique platform for healthcare professionals to deepen their knowledge, exchange insights, and discuss the latest techniques and technologies shaping the future of aortic care.

This symposium is designed for consultants, trainees, and multidisciplinary teams involved in managing complex aortic disease. It will highlight advances in diagnostics, surgical interventions, and long-term patient management, with case-based discussions and contributions from international experts.

As always, the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust remains committed to supporting education, research, and patient support. It’s encouraging to see events like this contributing to the wider mission of building stronger connections between clinicians, patients and families.
