Dr Luke Flower
Anaesthetic Trainee & Honorary Clinical Research Fellow in Critical Care
Dr Luke Flower is an anaesthetic trainee and honorary clinical research fellow based in London. His clinical interests include point-of-care ultrasound, immune function, and metabolism in critical illness. He is an approved ultrasound mentor for the Intensive Care Society and recently authored his first book on the subject, entitled “Point-of-Care Ultrasound in Critical Care”. He began working with the charity to help develop the education platform in 2021 following the death of his mother-in-law from an undiagnosed aortic dissection and hopes this work will improve awareness of the condition amongst healthcare professionals.
