ACCESS Clinical Development Day – Aorta in Motion

Aortic dissection is the focus of ACCESS Clinical Day 2025, with speakers from leading institutions sharing insights into care, transfer medicine, and lived experience.

We are honoured to contribute to the upcoming ACCESS Clinical Development Day, a CPD-accredited teaching programme bringing together multidisciplinary clinicians from across London. This session will focus on aortic dissection, offering a vital opportunity to engage with a wide spectrum of professionals including ICU nurses, paramedics and clinicians from emergency medicine, anaesthesia, intensive care and surgery.

The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust will speak alongside leading experts from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, the University of Cambridge, and the London Air Ambulance Service. Together, we will explore the complexities of diagnosing, managing, and transferring patients with acute aortic conditions.

This in-person event will include expert-led presentations, interactive Q&A sessions, and a focus on critical care and transfer medicine. We are especially proud to bring the patient voice into this important clinical dialogue, highlighting the lived experience behind the clinical response.

This collaboration with ACCESS reflects our shared commitment to improving outcomes for patients with aortic dissection and enhancing system-wide coordination and care delivery across the NHS.
