Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the Aortic Nurses Symposium returns in 2025, bringing together nurses and allied health professionals dedicated to improving care for patients with aortic dissection and related conditions.
This year’s symposium, held in Birmingham, will introduce key developments in aortic nursing, patient support, and multidisciplinary collaboration. It will also provide an update on our Aortic Clinic and Nurse Funding Programme, which is helping to establish specialist aortic clinics and fund dedicated aortic nurse roles across the UK and Ireland.
Additionally, the Specialist Aortic Advanced Practitioner Community of Practice, launched earlier in 2025, is a unique initiative led by the charity to connect, support, and develop a dedicated network of nurses and allied professionals working in aortic care. Attendees will be able to learn more about this community, contribute to its development, and explore ways to get involved.
This free event is open to practising nurses and allied health professionals, with travel bursaries available to ensure accessibility.
