Synchordia Presents: “With A Little Help From My Friends”

Join Synchordia for a musical evening to raise awareness and funds for aortic dissection research and education.

Join Nick Downs, who suffered a Type B aortic dissection in 2023, for an unforgettable evening of music and heartfelt gratitude. Synchordia, led by Nick, a Trinity College of Music-trained bassoonist, presents With A Little Help From My Friends for Aortic Dissection Awareness Day. This special concert aims to raise awareness of aortic dissection and funds to support research and education for this critical condition.

The event will feature performances by Synchordia Ensemble & Singers, Alright On The Night Saxophone Quartet, Riverview Junior School Choir, Synchordia Recorders, Gravesend Grammar Music Department, and special soloists. All performers have generously donated their time and talent to support this cause, making this a truly collaborative and community-driven event.

Nick’s journey through aortic dissection has been challenging, and this concert is his way of saying a heartfelt thank you to those who supported him. Some of Nick’s medical team will be in attendance, marking an emotional reunion and testament to their life-saving work.

Tickets are available online. Doors open at 7:00 PM for a 7:30 PM start.

Don’t miss this chance to enjoy an evening of beautiful music while supporting a cause that saves lives. Let’s come together and make a difference, with a little help from our friends.
