The British Society of Endovascular Therapy (BSET) will hold its Annual Meeting in 2025, continuing its role as a key national forum for the latest research and clinical developments in endovascular therapy. With close to 200 consultants, trainees, and industry representatives in attendance, the meeting provides a unique opportunity for open discussion, professional development, and the exchange of clinical experience across the UK’s vascular community.
Preceding the main meeting, the National Vascular Training Day offers vascular and interventional radiology trainees hands-on learning through case-based discussions and practical modules delivered by leading specialists. Delegates may select two of four focused sessions: EVAR planning and deployment, endovenous treatment, peripheral endovascular intervention, and managing the unexpected.
This year’s programme includes presentations particularly relevant to aortic dissection, such as:
-
Techniques for establishing an acceptable landing zone in acute aortic dissection
-
Endovascular aortic repair in older patients
-
A novel protocol for assessing Type B Aortic Dissection morphology
-
Use of machine learning and natural language processing to identify patients with Acute Aortic Syndrome
BSET continues to support the advancement of endovascular surgery through collaboration, research, and training, with a strong commitment to improving outcomes in complex aortic pathology.
