The charity is proud to support BioMedEng26, hosted this year by University of Liverpool. Recognised as the UK’s largest annual biomedical engineering conference, BioMedEng brings together researchers, clinicians, industry leaders and students to share innovations that are shaping the future of healthcare technology.
Since its inception, BioMedEng has become a leading national forum for collaboration and discovery within biomedical engineering. The conference provides opportunities to explore emerging technologies, discuss translational challenges in healthcare, and build partnerships across academia, clinical practice and industry.
This year’s programme focuses on three key themes:
- Metamaterials for Health – exploring innovations that support healthy living and healthcare through exercise, wellbeing, ageing, monitoring, diagnostics and therapeutics.
- Biomaterials for Health – highlighting advances in biomaterials research, from fundamental science through to clinical application and patient benefit.
- Aortic Diseases – showcasing the latest developments in aortic biomechanics and research that may improve the diagnosis, treatment and understanding of life-threatening conditions including aortic dissections and aneurysms.
The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust is proud to sponsor the Aortic Diseases sessions as part of our ongoing commitment to advancing research, improving awareness, and supporting progress in the understanding and treatment of aortic dissection.
