Aortic Nurses Symposium 2027

Join us in Birmingham for the Aortic Nurses Symposium 2027, featuring expert discussions, funding updates, and a new professional community initiative.

Following the success of previous events, the Aortic Nurses Symposium returns to Birmingham in 2027, bringing together nurses and allied health professionals dedicated to improving care for patients with aortic dissection and related aortic conditions.

This year’s symposium will explore the latest developments in aortic nursing, patient support and multidisciplinary care. It will also provide an update on the Aortic Clinic and Nurse Funding Programme, which continues to support the development of specialist aortic clinics and dedicated aortic nurse roles across the UK and Ireland.

The Specialist Aortic Advanced Practitioner Community of Practice will also be an important part of the symposium. Established by the charity to connect and support nurses and allied professionals working in aortic care, the community provides opportunities to share expertise, develop best practice and strengthen specialist aortic care across the patient pathway.

The symposium will provide time to learn from colleagues, share experiences and build connections with professionals working in aortic care across the UK and Ireland.

This free event is open to practising nurses and allied health professionals, with travel bursaries available to support attendance.

Join the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust in Birmingham to expand your knowledge, connect with peers and contribute to the future of specialist aortic nursing care.

Registration details will be available soon.
