Aorta: Structure to Rupture 2024

Join engineers, biologists, and clinicians in Liverpool for an insightful day on aortic pathology research at "Aorta: Structure to Rupture 2024".

The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust is proud to collaborate with the Liverpool Aortic Biomechanics and Biochemistry Research Group (LABB) for “Aorta: Structure to Rupture 2024“, scheduled for Thursday, 20th June 2024. This interdisciplinary meeting serves as a platform for engineers, biologists, and clinicians to discuss and present breakthroughs in aortic disease research, with key topics this year ranging from the intricacies of biochemistry and biomechanics of ascending/thoracic aneurysms to novel bioengineering techniques for vascular research.

With a central focus on promoting the patient’s voice, the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust’s involvement ensures that the research and advancements discussed have a tangible impact on the lives of those affected by aortic conditions. Participants can anticipate an enriching experience where state-of-the-art research is presented, underpinned by the Trust’s dedication to improving diagnosis, survival, and reducing disability due to aortic dissection.
