The Aortic Team at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital is pleased to host the 11th biennial Liverpool Aortic Symposium, bringing together medical professionals to explore the latest insights and developments in the care of aortic disease. This year’s symposium places a particular emphasis on syndromic diseases of the aorta, highlighting their genetic basis and clinical implications.
Keynote speakers include world-renowned experts in genetic aortic conditions.
- Professor Hal Dietz, Professor of Genetics at Johns Hopkins University, has transformed the diagnosis and treatment of Marfan syndrome through his pioneering research.
- Dr Dianna Milewicz, Director of Medical Genetics at UTHealth Houston, leads the John Ritter Research Program and is internationally recognised for her work in familial aortic and vascular disorders.
